The Technical Support and Maintenance department is responsible for the entire Product Process and Maintenance of the Production lines and main building equipment, present in the Vestas Blades Italia production Plant. The Department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our achievement. Responsibilities:

  • Deploy safety culture in own team - develop employees according to Bradley curve and in complies with Vestas Safety rules. Make sure the team complies with the Vestas safety systems e.g. PPE, lifting instructions, waste handling. Make sure the Safety Representative works according to the function description. Carry out 5S audits, ensure creation of Near Miss and Hazardous Observations and follow up on actions. Ensure and participate in risk assessments.
  • Take care of the EAM (Equipment Asset management) system. Update PM schedule according to equipment status and current instruction.
  • Manage and control the preventive maintenance of equipment according to PM schedule and data keyed in.
  • Inspect, evaluate and record on daily work for different shifts and maintain in a systemic way.
  • Back up and contribute to equipment troubleshooting if needed, keep in touch with supplier and specialist from Vestas group to find solution if needed.
  • Develop spare part, establish and control safety stock.
  • Provide training and instructions to maintenance staff.
  • Make equipment improvement
  • Support new project introduction i.e. tooling in regards to blade technology
  • Assist with additional projects and projects as assigned.
  • Ensure that the department is committed to comply with DS/EN 13306 Maintenance - Terminology

 

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering
  • 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • Fluent English
  • Use of common ERP: SAP

 

Competencies:

  • Engineering skills
  • Plan and implement RCM analysis on tools and equipment
  • Six sigma Green Belt
  • Similar Equipment Supervisor experience
