APAC Construction Offshore

Welcome to our APAC Construction Offshore team 

You will be part of our APAC Construction Offshore Team which comprises a team of highly motivated colleagues, supporting project execution of offshore wind turbines across the globe, with our focus being on the Asia Pacific region.

In addition to project execution, our team also supports the rest of Vestas' value chain with our knowledge of construction projects and consequently, many of our tasks also require cross-organisational collaboration.



Your primary responsibility will be to ensure consistency of HSE support to the construction projects and sites activities incl. providing technical support to HSE coordinators and information and guidance on HSE matters to all levels of the company. Raising safety awareness and improving the safety culture is the cornerstone of your daily work. You will ensure compliance to HSE legislation and professionally handle stakeholder relationships with customers as well as internal stakeholders.


Your tasks will include: 

  • Preparation of documents and planning of the construction projects according to the project deliverables of Vestas' Stage Gate Model;
  • Review, and when required, revision and improvements of documents in support of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System;
  • Developing the Safe System of Work and assisting in the implementation on sites
  • Conducting contractor reviews
  • Carrying out Incident Investigations incl. reporting incidents and supporting line management in handling incidents and corrective/preventive actions
  • Carrying out site inspections and audits.
  • Providing HSE support to construction projects during internal and external audits as well as during site inspections.



 We expect you to have formal Health, Safety or Environmental qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) as well as knowledge of HSE legislation. You have the ability to interpret government approved codes of practices to ensure legal compliance of COSHH and implementation of appropriate control processes. Furthermore, you have wind energy industry experience combined with good communication skills and a motivated and curious work approach. Finally, we expect you to be able to work effectively in a team environment where work requires collaboration and interdependence on others, often in an intercultural context.
