Project Management Office (PMO) APAC provides Cost Control, Planning/Scheduling, Documentation, Processes, Risk Management and Lessons Learned during Wind Farm Construction across the APAC region.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with Project Teams and to capture and resolve issues / lessons learned for the APAC Offshore Construction Wind projects.
  • Utilising the APAC PMO Lessons Learned Methodology, identify and confirm owners to ensure need resolution.
  • Ensure all mitigations are captured in Vestas processes (Vestas Process Portal, Stage Gate Model, Construction Management System).
  • Work closely with the Onshore counterpart to share learnings and resolution ideas for issues that occur on both Onshore & Offshore Wind Farm Construction projects.
  • Work with Vestas Global on new processes and tools.
  • Work closely with other PMO functions and other interface departments.
  • Support management reporting as required.

 

Qualifications

  • Engineering Degree
  • PMP preferred
  • 8 years industry experience (Project Management, Construction, Wind farm)

 

Competencies

  • Key Stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confident and able to guide stakeholder discussions towards a desirable outcome.
  • Comfortable and confident to drive 1:1 and large group discussions.
  • Effective Communication skills (English), both spoken and written
  • Good IT skills (Sharepoint, Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Experienced in management reporting (verbal & written/presentations)
  • Able to update processes as required
  • Motivated, organised, diligent person.
