Welcome to our Global Offshore CPX IDP & Operational Material Demand Planning team. You will be part of our Offshore Customer Project Execution team in APAC which comprises a team of highly motivated colleagues, responsible for project execution including Planning, installation and commissioning of offshore wind turbines across the globe, with our main focus being on the Asia Pacific region.

 

In addition to project execution, our team also supports the rest of Vestas' value chain with our knowledge of construction projects and consequently, many of your tasks will also require cross-organizational collaboration.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Early engagement and close collaboration with Project team to understand the customer needs, initiating Procurement plan.

• Create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and support purchasing for Recommended Spare Parts List (RSPL) and Site Order List (SOL) demand with clear tracking of material readiness.

• Ensure that services and goods are ordered in due time.

• Maintain a continuous dialogue with global procurement about the sourcing criteria, supplier readiness, etc..

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, and work effectively with all relevant parties, to solve challenges such as master data and invoicing issues.

• Support on customs & import clearance

• Ensure adherence to processes by following established procedures and guidelines to maintain consistency and quality in all tasks.

• Focus on the entire end-to-end process and consider the complete workflow from start to finish, ensuring that each step is optimized for the best overall outcome.

 

Qualifications:

 

• Hold a degree in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.

• Experience in demand planning, Purchasing management or similar activities

 

Competencies:

 

• Experience in demand planning, Purchasing management.

• Good knowledge of SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP etc.

• Committed and highly motivated.

• Consistently steps forward to begin tasks.

• Open to feedback and positive.
