The Offshore APAC Customer Project Execution Quality Business Partner acts as a trusted advisor to regional leadership, ensuring quality risks are identified early, managed carefully and recurrence is avoided.
The position builds a preventive quality culture by reinforcing governance, improving visibility of quality KPIs and supporting strategic quality initiatives across the region. The role contributes directly to customer satisfaction, reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), Hand Over to Service and Start up LPF performance.
While reporting through the Global CPX Quality organization, the position works closely with Offshore leadership to integrate quality into business decisions and operational priorities, ensuring alignment between regional needs and global quality objectives.
The role promotes collaboration across functions, breaks down organizational silos and supports decisions based on what is Best for Vestas. It serves as an escalation point for severe or recurrent operational issues where value chain support for RCA or Preventive or Corrective actions is needed.
The role promotes a culture of zero tolerance towards HSE incidents, ensuring that safety and quality remain fundamental to every business decision and activity.
Responsibilities
• Act as the Quality Business Partner for the Offshore APAC organization, ensuring quality is integrated into business decisions, operational priorities and risk management.
• Co own performance by improving visibility, governance and reduction of Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ), Hand over to Service and Start up LPF.
• Manage quality governance and timely escalation of critical quality risks, customer impacts and business affecting issues through the appropriate management channels.
• Build a preventive quality culture through lessons learned, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Success in this role will be measured through improved quality performance visibility, reduction of recurring quality issues, effective CoPQ management and positive contribution to business performance and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality, Project Execution, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Operational Excellence within industrial, energy or infrastructure environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing quality performance, quality governance, risk management or Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) close to business execution.
