EVP ASP > Region ASP > Turbines ASP

 

Turbines ASP is part of Service Organization supporting the Service and Construction organizations on technical support and acting as the link between VPS and local business units.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Technical support on all the general mechanical components and Coordinate train support including and not limited to gearboxes, oil analysis, bearings, mechanical endoscopes, and condition monitoring
  • Secure technical know -how within the group on hydraulic units (pitch system), oil analysis, main shaft arrangement, blade bearings, torque arms, transmission systems, rotating unit, yaw gears and yaw bearings, bolts & torques
  • Technical documentation
  • Ability to translate the technical issues into a business case and support SBU on the continuous improvements
  • Act as one voice towards the global organization on the Technical issues, and be a single point contact for the R&D
  • Collaborate with various service units across ASP, understand the pain points, create projects for the cost out ideas
  • Creating high level technical reports ie, root cause analysis, inspection & Serious incident report if need
  • Escalate and work with technology team to approve the cost out ideas for the implementation
  • Participate in various forums, coordinate and contribute in various cost out ideas and Turbine availability drivers
  • Data collection, analysis and deriving projects for bringing down cost and increasing the availability
  • Coordinating technical project

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10-15 years of technical experience.

  • Wind turbine knowledge/experience
  • Project Management experience (as project participant or project manager)
  • Six Sigma certification

 

Competencies:

  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance engineering of hydraulic systems, gearboxes and bearings essential
  • Mechanical background specialized in gearboxes combined with professional experience on industrial maintenance and R&D will be preferred.
  • Mechanical background specialized in drive train and hydraulics combined with professional experience in industrial maintenance and R&D will be preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge on gears, bearings, mechanical condition monitoring, endoscope and oil analysis.
  • Experience with Blades and Towers.
  • Good communication skills and high technical level, and good English.
  • Innovative methodical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to handle multiple tasks in a exciting environment.
  • Solid Time/Project Management skills
