Vestas Offshore Service Support APAC, is part of the overall Offshore Service business in the APAC region, working closely with the Operational Service Team, Sales, Special Projects and Construction. Responsible for the service site setup, support, and preparation, including long term strategic planning for the APAC offshore service regions. You will work closely with Service Offshore Sales and Service Offshore Operations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Review of the service costing and forecast model prior to pricing.
  • Assisting the APAC Service Operations and APAC Offshore Service Sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Assist the APAC Offshore service teams by managing the APAC Offshore after sales requests from the customer and promote any additional services, including the preparation of business cases and presentations for the relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and information to Offshore Service Operations and Offshore Sales team.
  • Communication with engineering, and product departments to maintain a high level of product understanding.
  • Collaboration and alignment with Global Operations Support
  • Participation in customer meetings
  • Support with the negotiations/creations of SAA contracts and sales.
  • Preparations of lessons learned from Service Readiness relating to Service Sales and SAA. Ensuring the findings are communicated and implemented where applicable to the Sales and Service Readiness process and procedures.
  • Keeping abreast of industry developments and provide SAA deliverables sale insights.
  • Review site cost estimates with real site data along with specialists and advise on economic impacts and solutions.

 

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering business, finance, or a related field
  • 2-3 years' experience in sales, ideally within the wind energy sector
  • Solid economic/financial modelling skills
  • Full technical knowledge of offshore wind turbines and the wind energy industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
  • Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver multiple tasks and projects.
  • A Full understanding of business development, marketing and sales strategies
  • Should be good at problem solving with high attention to detail, yet able to work in a time sensitive setting to meet deadlines
  • Fluency in verbal and written English
