Supporting this commitment, the Offshore Service Assistant function plays a key role in the efficient and reliable operation of offshore wind farms by providing structured administrative and coordination support to service activities.
Responsibilities
The Service Assistant supports the safe, efficient, and cost‑effective day‑to‑day operation of the offshore wind farm by providing comprehensive administrative and coordination support. Reporting to the Site Service Manager, the role ensures smooth site functioning through effective management of operational data, documentation, and workflows, while acting as a key liaison between site personnel, management, customers, vendors, and internal support teams. Through accurate administration and coordination, the Service Assistant contributes directly to operational efficiency, compliance, continuous improvement, and reliable site performance.
• Prepare, manage, and archive site documentation, reports, and records
• Support daily administrative workflows to ensure smooth site operations
• Act as a key liaison between site personnel, management, customers, vendors, and internal departments
• Organize port passes
• Maintain and update training records and certification compliance
• Manage SAP processes, purchase order creation
• Support procurement activities, including liaising with vendors and ordering parts, tools, and materials
• Assist with travel arrangements and visa processing for onsite personnel
• Support CPX Construction and Commissioning teams as required
Qualifications
The Service Assistant should possess solid administrative skills, operational awareness, and a responsive, service-oriented approach. The role requires the ability to stay organized when managing tight deadlines, manage multiple priorities effectively, and support continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is able to handle changing priorities, consistent, and accountable, with the ability to work with minimal supervision while also functioning as a collaborative team member. A willingness to own their work, recognize limitations, and seek support when needed is essential to ensure safe and effective outcomes.
Relevant administrative experience within a technical, industrial, or offshore environment
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate clearly with multinational teams, customers, and vendors
• Skilled user of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experienced in SAP
• Solid organizational and coordination skills with high attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively when deadlines are tight and during high operational activity
Competencies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Uses SAP or similar systems for operational processes and data management
• Ensures accuracy in data, reporting, and documentation
