Manage and ensure offshore operation overall timely completion of projects. Oversees developments, create timelines, manage budgets and build teams. Perform a high level of planning and communication to implement the necessary actions.
Responsibilities
If you are the Installation Supervisor, the responsibilities include:

Oversee the installation of offshore wind turbines and ensure adherence to safety procedures and quality standards
-
Manage and coordinate the activities of installation teams, including contractors and subcontractors
-
Review and approve installation plans and procedures
-
Conduct inspections and audits of installation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements
-
Maintain accurate records of installation activities and report progress to project management
-
Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams as required
-
Participate in project planning and scheduling activities as required
-
Manages registration of performed activities on the Installation Service inspections Forms, according to Vestas quality standards.
-
Daily supervision and progression of installation activities, performed by external resources, ensuring the fulfillment of project execution and contractual obligations by subcontractor.
-
Perform initial inventory of received goods and materials, and hand-over to subcontractor. Ensure Tools good working order with current calibration certificate.

Perform safety and quality walks.
-
Perform final inventory of the equipment and parts after completion of site works.

Perform final walk down
If you are the OIM, the responsibilities include:
-
Oversees completion of site administration according to performance standards agreed (on schedule, at requisite quality level, on-budget)
-
Assumes economic responsibility, e.g. calculates material, personnel, and running contract costs for suppliers
-
Represents the site in all decision-making committees of the project (towards own management, customer and team)
-
Coordinates contractors and internal resources before and during execution of work
-
Ensures adherence to defined guidelines, processes and procedures, for all site operations assigned Establishes efficient methods/processes for site controlling and reporting
-
Responsible for ensuring all offshore wind farm development and construction logistics are planned and implemented correctly in conjunction with a team of industry leading experts for foundation installation, cable installation, wind turbine installation and other areas of offshore wind farm construction activities
-
Assesses risks/opportunities at the construction site
-
Monitors compliance of standards, regulations, laws, quality and HSE -guidelines
-
Supervises qualified employees in a number of functional teams, at the site assigned
-
Responsible for the daily management of the site participants as described in the project organization chart and responsible for distributing work and tasks to the project participants
-
Responsible for all site activities where the organization holds the contract and hosting on-site Kickoff meetings prior to start of site activities
-
Single point of contact on-site to clients' project manager and site manager
-
Responsible for site budget and reporting according to processes
-
Representing installation in wind turbine procurement in the engineering phase
-
Assisting asset projects as required to manage the internal resources, contractors and suppliers to perform offshore installation of wind turbines
-
Sharing and implementing scope recommendations and lessons learnt with current and future project teams
-
Responsible for the safety of the wind turbine assembly and personnel and provides the direction and leadership required to keep the operation running smoothly. Ensure that the client's representative is kept informed about all activities and operations onboard
-
Develop and implement new installation concepts based on lessons learned and preliminary concepts developed during Vestas V236 design
-
Organize and supervise the installation project team, including management of subcontractors
-
Ensure installation activities are completed on time to meet internal targets and key contract milestones
-
Coordinate the external interfaces between Vestas, the Customer and Installation Vessel owner in relation to Vessel Layouts, Lifting Plans, Power Requirements, Method Statements, Risk Assessments and related Work Instructions
-
Supervise the budget within Installation scope, in coordination with the Project Manager
-
Ensure compliance to the contract within the Installation scope
-
Provide input to the contract as required by Project Manager
-
Maintain and follow KPIs set by Project Manager
-
Planning, management and deployment of installation resources, tools and equipment
-
Spare parts management during Installation
-
Installation Method Statements and Risk Assessments
-
Input to vessel coordinator for daily marine planning, incl. crew transfers and crew change
-
Ensure adequate training of installation personnel
-
Ensure installation personnel welfare.
-
Effectively resolve internal and external cross-functional issues to ensure the project is not affected
-
Installation execution according to QHSE standards
-
Reporting of observations, incidents and accidents according to procedures
Qualifications
If you are the Installation Supervisor, the qualifications include:
-
A minimum of 3 years of experience in offshore wind installation working as a supervisor or a related field
-
Good knowledge of offshore wind turbine installation techniques, procedures, and safety practices
-
Experience managing installation teams, including contractors and subcontractors
-
Good communication, leadership, and organizational skills
-
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver multiple tasks simultaneously
-
Fluent in English. Mandarin desired.

Extensive experience conducting large projects.

Previous experience in WTG offshore installation manager or similar role is desirable
-
Previous experience in implementing offshore wind farm projects is desirable, other experience can be considered for the right individual

Good knowledge of offshore construction vessels (particularly WTIVs) is desirable, a deeper understanding of vessel design and architecture is advantageous.

Construction safety awareness

Significant experience in Wind Turbine assembly project site construction or offshore large construction projects.

Lifting and banking experience.
-
Ability to implement quality assurance and environmental processes
-
Knowledge of specification, design, maintenance, construction and commissioning of offshore works.

Electrical knowledge, cables installation and connection, able to read and follow schematics..
