Our department consists of following; Teams of supervisors and technicians supporting preassembly, installation, commissioning, service sites and warehouse.
External resource management and site support coordinates external technicians and consultant support. We train and grow dedicated resources with the right mindset and coordinate people and teams to deliver safe, high-quality work.
We create a culture of safety and costs consciousness and quality.
Responsibilities
- The Lifting Supervisor is responsible for the daily coordination and execution for the work scope on every site during Installation works.
- The Lifting Supervisor must work closely with the Lead Site Manager and Installation Supervisor.
- It is the Lifting Supervisor's responsibility together with the Installation Supervisors, that the Installation Team is working efficiently ensuring, that all work during Installation is preformed safely and according to Vestas quality standards as well as making sure, that the Installation Team has all necessary documentation available such as Work Instructions, Method Statements etc.
- After every Installation the Lifting Supervisor together with the Installation Supervisors delivers required documents and information to the Completion Team, including Quality Inspectors.
- The Lifting Supervisor must take initiative and always intervene if any issues occur.
- After rotation end, the Lifting Supervisor must provide a comprehensive hand over for his back to back.
Qualifications
- Experience in the wind industry. Full GWO training packets is expected.
Competencies
- Hold a technical education (mechanical/electrical) combined with WTG experience
- Have experience working with electrical/hydraulic diagrams
- Japanese or Korean speaking
- You are highly quality and safety focused and possess a continuous improvement mindset
- Work well with others and can guide and act as an effective motivator and facilitator of the team
- Have clear English communication skills and can motivate and encourage your team of technicians
- Are focused on customer-relations
- Have good process understanding as well as good delegation and administration skills
- Are result-driven, action-oriented and possess a continuous improvement mindset
- Are willing to adjust your communication to suit different situations and are respectful
