Manage and ensure offshore operation overall timely completion of projects. Oversees developments, create timelines, manage budgets and build teams. Perform a high level of planning and communication to implement the necessary actions.

Responsibilities 

• Oversee the installation of offshore wind turbines and ensure adherence to safety procedures and quality standards 

• Manage and coordinate the activities of installation teams, including contractors and subcontractors 

• Review and approve installation plans and procedures 

• Conduct inspections and audits of installation activities to ensure compliance with project requirements 

• Maintain accurate records of installation activities and report progress to project management 

• Provide technical support and guidance to installation teams as required 

• Participate in project planning and scheduling activities as required 

• Manages registration of performed activities on the Installation Service inspections Forms, according to Vestas quality standards.

• Daily supervision and progression of installation activities, performed by external resources, ensuring the fulfillment of project execution and contractual obligations by subcontractor 

• Perform initial inventory of received goods and materials, and hand-over to subcontractor. Ensure Tools good working order with current calibration certificate 

• Perform final inventory of the equipment and parts after completion of site works 

• Perform safety, quality walks and final walk down 

Qualifications 

• HBO Technical qualification to degree level or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering. Electro Technical Officer (ETO - STCW III/6) and Engineering Officers (STCW III/2 or III/3) are acceptable 

• Willingness to travel and relocate to Taiwan to work and do long rotations 

• Technical or equivalent mechanical/constructional experience with Vestas installation Level C MK3A is desired 

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in offshore wind installation working as a supervisor or a related field

• Comprehensive knowledge of offshore wind turbine installation techniques, procedures, and safety practices 

• GWO, Medical Certification 

Competencies 

• Experience managing installation teams, including contractors and subcontractors 

• Effective communication, leadership, and organizational skills 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete multiple tasks simultaneously 

• Fluent in English and Mandarin is desired 

• Extensive experience implementing large projects 

• Offshore experience

• Documentation skills

• Dependability / trustworthy / reliable

• Attention to detail

• Positive & Progressive attitude
