Responsibilities
-
Build safety culture and performance with Tien Li management team for Tien Li Plant project
-
Develop the HSE activities for Hub.
-
Identify best practice from similar industries and develop further to suit Vestas need.

Develop and deploy Vestas HSE standards, processes and tools based on best practice and customer/business needs and facilitate the implementation.

Contribute to Identification, development and set up of corporate HSE targets and leading/lagging indicators for the specific QSE standards, processes and tools for Hub Plants and support Tien Li team in identifying.

Monitor status of compliance with the specific HSE standards, processes and tools in the relevant area and continuously identify needed actions for improvement in order to reach the targets at corporate level for HSE related parts of the business plan

Lead and set direction for all Vestas employees to ensure that they are motivated and receive all necessary training and development to enable them to carry out their responsibilities to the required standards/projects/ tasks.
Qualifications
-
Degree in HSE or engineering curriculum being in compliance with local legal requirements
-
Minimum of 8-10 years of management / supervision experience preferably on a leadership level
Competencies
-
Expertise in hazard jobsite assessment/analysis/solution, risk assessments, incident investigation and root cause analysis
-
Proficiency in contractor/subcontractor HSE management
-
Experienced Auditor for ISO 14001 & 45001 standard
-
Experience in industrial Manufacturing, Civil Works/construction (project-based approach) and Service activities

Experienced in working at complex organizations

Substantial experience of data analysis, having knowledge of relevant tools and methodologies

Demonstrated ability to establish, implement and manage HSE best practices and programs
-
Customer focus, effective problem-solving capabilities, strong collaborator and cultural sensitivity skills
-
Good communication skills across all levels within plant and regional to align expectations, engage the organization, monitor results and establish solutions

Must have a sense of urgency for change and improvement, and a balanced approach to risk taking and achieving results

Should have safety first mindset

Need to have ability to get the work done (Pushing) from contractors
