Region APC > Customer Project Execution - APAC > APAC Offshore Installation Site & Project Management

 

Manage and ensure offshore operation overall timely completion of projects. Perform a high level of planning and communication to plan the necessary actions. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Nominated as a AP Lifting Operations to comply with the local requirements concerning complex lifting duties on a site(s) and acts as a subject matter expert for the site.
  • Administrates the Safe System of Work ("SSoW"), in regard to Lifting Operations and coordinates the work tasks for the various parties involved.
  • Prepares project specific lifting plans and rigging drawings, and has the overall control and responsibility for the lifting operations.
  • Participates in all meetings, both internally and externally, associated with the lifting activities and represents Vestas in client or sub-contractor meetings.
  • Assists in assessments of competencies of all relevant staff / technicians and provides inductions to the appropriate persons.
  • Clarify legislation, regulations, and codes of practice requirements that relate to basic, intermediate and complex lifting activities.
  • Implement a SSoW and periodically monitor and amend as required to ensure, as far as reasonably practical, a SSoW is provided and implemented.

  • IOSH Leading Safely or NEBOSH
  • Knowledge of the requirements under local legislation, regulations and
  • relate to all types of lifting activities.
  • Awareness of the requirements of the Industrial standard.
  • Experienced person qualified and certified with practical/theoretical knowledge to the Industrial standard and local requirements.
  • Knowledge of maintenance, inspection, thorough examination and testing requirements of lifting equipment and accessories.
  • Understanding of relevant information relating to different types of lifting accessories i.e. markings, certificates, and thorough examination reports, etc.
  • 5 years minimum experience in lifting operations and 2 years of planning lifting operations.
