We are looking for a candidate based in Poland, who will play a key role in the construction of wind farm projects across the NCE region, ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient execution from site mobilisation through to project completion. In partnership with international teams, clients, and subcontractors, you will advance the energy transition while managing intricate construction operations in a busy, continually evolving setting. This is a valuable opportunity for an experienced construction professional looking to combine direct site leadership with international project exposure.

The Installation & Commissioning Department oversees all wind farm projects from contract signing through to final commissioning. The team ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards, working closely with logistics, procurement, and finance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end execution of wind farm construction projects, ensuring safe, high-quality, on-time, and cost-effective delivery
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all site construction and installation activities in line with project requirements, design specifications, and applicable regulations
  • Manage project performance, budgets, schedules, risks, and resource allocation to meet project objectives
  • Guide project teams and subcontractors to build collaboration, engagement, and ongoing improvement
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, authorities, subcontractors, designers, and other key stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with Vestas processes, quality standards, HSE requirements, Polish construction law, and environmental regulations
  • Serve as the legally appointed Site Manager, maintaining construction documentation, managing statutory responsibilities, and implementing lessons learned and best practices

 

Qualifications

  • A degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Valid construction licence (Uprawnienia Budowlane)
  • Experience in the construction industry is an advantage
  • Solid knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and practices
  • Good understanding of the full construction lifecycle
  • Familiarity with process safety standards and relevant local legislation
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

You can be based anywhere in Poland.

Primarily work location: Construction sites across the NCE region

Expected travel: up to 180 days per year, on rotational basis 16 days on 12 days off
