In People Resource Management (PRM) we are excited to have an incredibly skilled work force of highly qualified supervisors, ready to support our projects and ad hoc assignments in Europe and beyond. Our supervisors work on activities in quality on-/offshore, supporting some of the largest wind farm projects in the world. They are exposed daily to large wind turbine components. This entails working on large scale components which requires a mindset of safety and great leadership skills. Responsibilities:
As a quality supervisor you will be part of the on-/ offshore project team, with whom you will work closely in getting the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) from installation, commissioning and into operation. You must take all necessary actions to comply with Vestas' safety and quality standards. You will work with several members of the project team, including client representatives participating in all quality tasks. You are responsible to carry out your work scope effectively in a safe and timely manner.
Furthermore, your tasks will include:
- Plan and conduct component inspections
- Coordinate quality scope with project team to meet customer WTG requirements
- Identify, describe, register, and report non-conformities
- Review, approve and document inspection reports
- Coordinate quality improvements across Vestas' value chain
- Participate in audits in accordance with quality specifications
- Inspection of incoming deliveries to site on specified components e.g., nacelles, towers, and blades
- Ensure a safe work environment by acting in compliance with Vestas' HSE requirements
Qualifications:
- Good understanding of ISO9001 and ISO14001 is desirable
- Experience working with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic diagrams are desired
- WTG and wind turbine experience is desired
- Confident Microsoft Office user
- Fluent in English

Additional information:
Primary work location: you can be based anywhere in Poland however this position requires up to 180 days of worldwide travel per year.
