We are thrilled to have a dedicated team of highly skilled supervisors in Site Quality Control Management, supporting projects and ad hoc assignments across Northern Central Europe and the UK. Our supervisors handle quality activities both onshore and offshore, working on some of the world’s largest wind farm projects. They deal with large wind turbine components daily, requiring a proven safety mindset and effective leadership skills. You will join our Site Quality Control Management department based in Szczecin, Poland. This department is central to Vestas’ project execution, covering various work scopes. This role involves onshore quality work, with assignments across Northern Central Europe and the UK, and may also include offshore project support.

 

Responsibilities

As a quality supervisor, you will join the onshore project team, collaborating closely to oversee the Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) from installation through commissioning to operation. You must ensure compliance with Vestas’ safety and quality standards. You will work alongside various project team members, including client representatives, to deliver all quality-related tasks. Your responsibility is to perform your tasks safely and efficiently.

 

Other tasks are to:

  • Plan and execute inspections of components.
  • Align quality scope with the project team to fulfill customer WTG requirements.
  • Identify, document, and report non-conformities.
  • Review, approve, and record inspection reports.
  • Coordinate quality enhancements across Vestas’ value chain.
  • Inspect incoming deliveries of specified components (e.g., nacelles, towers, blades).
  • Ensure a safe work environment by adhering to Vestas’ HSE standards.

 

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ISO9001 and ISO14001
  • 3-5 years of experience in the wind industry.
  • Experience with electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic diagrams
  • Comprehensive communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

This position requires up to 180 days travel per year.
