The Quality Department at the Vestas Offshore Szczecin assembly facility is the guardian of our "zero-defect" philosophy. We are a critical function ensuring every component and assembly process meets the rigorous standards required for reliable, sustainable energy generation. Our mission is to embed quality into every stage of production, from incoming materials to final product inspection, acting as a proactive partner to Manufacturing and Engineering to drive continuous improvement and uphold the Vestas promise of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Implement and improve quality processes in line with the APQP4wind framework, ensuring new products and changes are launched robustly
- Lead complex root cause analysis (RCA) for systemic quality issues using structured methodologies like 8D, Ishikawa, and A3
- Develop, own, and maintain critical quality documents, including Process FMEAs and Control Plans, ensuring they reflect reality and mitigate risk
- Conduct advanced data analysis using SPC, MSA, and other statistical tools to monitor process capability and drive data-driven decisions
- Actively participate in or lead Lean Six Sigma projects aimed at reducing process variation and the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ)
- Conduct internal QMS and process audits to verify compliance and effectiveness
- Serve as the technical quality expert in cross-functional teams with Engineering, Production, and other departments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management) is required
- Minimum 2 years in a Quality Engineer role within an advanced manufacturing environment (e.g., OEM, automotive, aerospace)
- Credentials as an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor are required
- Professional working proficiency in English (CEFR B2 or higher)

- In-depth knowledge of APQP4wind and Quality Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA)
- Expertise in advanced, data-driven problem solving (8D/RCA)
- Strong statistical analysis and data visualization skills

- Clear technical communication and presentation skills
