Manufacturing and Global Procurement > COO NCE > Indirect Procurement NCE 

The Regional Procurement Department supports NCE (Northern Central Europe) manufacturing in selection of CAPEX suppliers for providing production equipment and maintenance of these. We cooperate with Global Procurement to implement global strategy for CAPEX in region and building a regional strategy with focus on cost-awareness, quality-awareness and safety awareness. We are sourcing for suppliers being able to meet Vestas requirements as well as local legislation and certifications.



  • Determine specifications and requirements for CAPEX commodity (production equipment and maintenance) through communication with internal stakeholders and in alignment with the department's strategy
  • Review, negotiate and handle agreements with subcontractors, statement of works, scope changes, and performance against the global/regional contracts
  • Be a representative of NCE region in global projects
  • Conduct RFI and RFP process in NCE region for vendor selection
  • Handle the vendors' database to ensure contractual compliance and financial efficiency
  • Identify and effectively handle contractual and commercial risks and issues, with the purpose of suggesting solutions and a way forward
  • Ensure adherence to the policies and processes



  • University education - technical background will be counted as advantage
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Solid experience within procurement of CAPEX equipment, technical services or maintenance from subcontractors
  • Experience in handling regional contracts will be counted as advantage
  • Very good English skills both written and spoken



  • Good communication and negotiation skills 
  • Good stakeholder and supplier management skills
  • Good time management and organization skills
  • Intercultural awareness, team-oriented person
