The Project Management Department is part of the "Global Service PMO", and consists of Project Managers and Implementation Managers, who are responsible for leading a wide range of projects to deliver innovative solutions for Vestas Service.

You will be part of a diverse department with team members located in many geographical locations and with different cultural backgrounds. We are expanding with highly qualified colleagues to meet the demand of a growing and challenging business.

 

Responsibilities 
You will manage the quality-of-Service related deliverables such as Tools, Documentation and Spare Parts, and associated testing and verification activities for new turbine products coming from development. This includes Product Responses, which are Vestas' ongoing releases of new technology on our Offshore platforms.

Your focus will be on the general progress of all projects, stakeholder management, budgets, reporting and communication.

  • In collaboration with module leads, you are responsible for the full overview of several platform projects running in parallel
  • You are at the forefront of the delivery plan and the related activities
  • You address risks, solve problems and deal with obstacles as they arise
  • You keep track of time and budget for the portfolio of platform projects
  • You will be involved in the work of operationalizing our processes
  • You will prioritize and delegate tasks related to the deliverables
  • You will communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
  • You ensure necessary progress and highlight deviations and issues
  • You prepare and conduct reporting on the project portfolio to steering committee at VP level

 

Qualification
To succeed in the above responsibilities, you have:

  • +3 years of project management experience
  • Proven success working with all levels of management
  • Strong attention to milestones and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably in technical terms
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Professional certification such as PMP or PRINCE2 – will be beneficial 
  • Experience in developing platforms for internal processes, also knowledge and experience with the terminology in the wind industry as well as experience from larger organizations – will be beneficial
