Vestas Development is an established strategic business unit within Vestas that is responsible for developing renewable energy projects from from greenfield to ready-to-build stage. It originates and supports the development of new wind and hybrid high-quality projects in Poland through its own in-house team as well as via development partnerships that are established and managed by the team.
The position is part of the Vestas Development EMEA & LATAM team and will report to the Development country head of Poland.
Responsibilities
- Cooperation with the Project Manager and the team in day-to-day activities related to the development of wind farm projects, including support in quality control and monitoring the progress of work in relation to the agreed schedules and scope
- Administrative support and creation of data files enabling control of the development process, as well as cooperation with accounting in the settlement of contracts related to project implementation
- Cooperation with stakeholders, authorities, Vestas employees, and involved companies in preparing documentation needed for wind farm development, and managing related correspondence
- Periodic site visits to participate in the analysis of wind farm areas, and business trips related to participation in meetings, and obtaining information or documentation necessary for projects
- Organization and participation in meetings regarding project development, and cooperation with the team in other activities related to project development
Qualifications
- Higher education in the field of spatial planning, real estate management, environmental or engineering studies
- 1+ years of work experience in renewable energy, real estate, environmental, engineering or spatial planning branch
- Proficiency in MS Office, familiarity with AutoCAD or QGIS will be beneficial
- Fluent in Polish and English
- Valid driving license

Additional information
The position is based in Poland, in Szczecin or Koszalin area. Other locations within Poland could be considered. Travelling within Poland to the project locations is expected.
