We are looking for a PE Engineer who take pride in initiating and driving process changes when needed.

The Technical Support (TS) team is part of the TS&Q (Technical Support and Quality) department at the Szczecin Nacelle Assembly Factory. At the factory serial production of the gigant Vestas offshore nacelle named Blue Marlin will be launched during 2024. The Technical Support team supports all operation conducted at the factory to ensure flawless execution by leading maintenance, continuous improvement and trouble shooting of the manufacturing baseline. Baseline includes work instructions, tools, Bill of Material and implementation of design changes in running production. Also supported by the TS team is lifting plans, risk assessments, assembly risk assessments (PFMEA) and quality activities in our Quality Management System.
The factory operation will be supported by a number of regional and global support functions. The local TS department has a broad corporation with several of these departments. The department is therefore a local organisation in an international environment.
 

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the processes in place for enabling manufacturing of conforming customer products including:
  • Maintenance of PWI (Product Work Instruction)
  • Drive engineering change requests if adjustments to the manufacturing baseline is needed
  • Implement engineering changes in running production
  • Participate in trouble shooting when problems in the factory processes arises
  • Ensure efficient communication to the production line when any adjustment of process is needed
  • Lead, drive and enable a strong safety and quality culture through your behavior and areas of engagement
     

Qualifications

  • Technical electromechanical background preferred. It can be mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or production engineering
  • Experience within the field of heavy industry manufacturing is highly relevant for the job role
  • Good technical understanding of mechanics and/or electrical installations is needed
  • Good technical understanding of production engineering will be positive add-on
  • Experience within other large corporate organizations - beneficial
  • Polish language skills are mandatory
  • Good communication skills and fluent in English is needed (English is the companywide language)

Work location: Szczecin, Brdowska 5, Poland
Travel days: up to 30 days travel mostly within Denmark the first year
