The Global Delivery Center team enables the Service One Plan strategy and supports the development of a more capable hub in Chennai for the Service value chain. Delivery includes supporting the global priorities of Service, where the outcome will be measured on - DC/MW, LPF&LDs reduction and EBIT recovery.
 


Responsabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with the Project Management team at GCC, as well as with Delivery Management and Quality Management. You will oversee the governance of work being transferred from both internal and external customer sites and regions across Vestas. Additionally, you will indirectly lead the Service Delivery Center team in Poland. Moreover, your responsibilities will include:

  • Build the new GCC set-up and develop customer and region-focused teams for delivering a solid customer experience whilst mitigating business risk on LD and LPF
  • Be responsible for identifying and providing technical engineering and strategic solutions for onshore and offshore processes in alignment with the global and regional teams and their requirements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and work seamlessly with other SDCs and Regional and Global stakeholders
  • Participate in connecting with global and regional stakeholders and align on goals, milestones and shape the strategies for the team
  • Ensure high-quality delivery and implement continuous process improvements, applying an automation-first mindset and collaborating closely with Digital Solutions to enhance future efficiency


 
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master’s in the engineering field 
  • 15 years of working experience, can be in a similar role, in Project Management roles, or direct leadership roles
  • Experience in similar roles 
  • Production, Design or Service Engineering experience
  • E2E process and product lifecycle knowledge

 

Competencies 

  • Demonstrated leadership, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Solid communication abilities and a talent for stakeholder management, capable of building bridges across a multicultural and multinational environment
  • Ability to lead with intent, creating an environment where teams are empowered, supported and motivated
  • Proficient level of English

Additional Information


The role can be based in our Szczecin, Poland office, Copenhagen or in Aarhus, Denmark. You can expect up to 60 days of travel per year.
