Vestas Development is an established strategic business unit within Vestas that is responsible for developing renewable energy projects from greenfield until ready to build. Vestas Development originate and support the development of new wind and hybrid high quality projects in Poland via its own in-house team as well as via development partnerships that are established and managed by the team.

The position is part of the Vestas Development EMEA & LATAM team and will report to the Development Country Head of Poland.

Responsibilities

• Identification of land plots for potential wind farm projects and related technical infrastructure
• Conducting the legal verification of identified land plots
• Negotiating the terms of land lease and easement agreements as well as other contracts required for investment location
• Organizing concluding notarial deeds or other required contracts
• Cooperation with the team in other activities related with projects development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, administration or real estate education (or in relevant field)
• Min 3+years experience in land acquisition for wind farm projects and technical infrastructure
• Appropriate knowledge of concluding contracts, civil code and real estate management
• MS Office user, AutoCad or QGis will be additional advantage
• Fluent Polish and English language
• Have a valid driving license

• High degree of professionalism and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
• Willingness and ability to take frequent business trips
• Good organizational skills combining business trips and office work

Additional information

This role is based in Poland- Ideally in Szczecin or Koszalin area. Other locations within Poland could be considered. Travelling within Poland to the project locations should be expected.
