HSE department plays a strategic role at Vestas Assembly factory. With newly created department you will be responsible for deploying Vestas Safety Strategy and principles into the Zero-accident culture. Responsibilities 

As an HSE Engineer you will provide HSE support and your task will be to secure execution of our Health Safety and Environment procedures ensuring these are an integral part of the factory. Your tasks will include the following

  • Ensure a safe environment for all employees and the business
  • Support, communicate and report to management regarding HSE issues and support the factory during internal and external Audits
  • Contribute to a good, open and developing climate in the HSE department
  • Ensure HSE is running according to the demands in the management system in own WC/Area
  • Ensure safety group meetings are implemented, held and assessed in the organization
  • Ensure coaching and development of the safety organization
  • Investigate accidents and incidents and implement corrections and corrective actions including system for hazardous observations

 

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of experience in similar position within HSE in an international work environment
  • You hold a relevant education within HSE 
  • Good to high level of knowledge of HSE standards nationally in Poland
  • Fluency in English and Polish is required

  • Good analytical skills and the ability to think critically

Work location: Szczecin, Brdowska 5, Poland 
Travel days: up to 100 days travel mostly within Denmark the first year
