Manufacturing and Global Procurement > COO NCE > Assembly Szczecin

You will join the Vestas NCE (Northern and Central Europe) Regional COO Finance team, which is represented in each of the manufacturing sites in the region. Vestas Assembly Poland is seeking a qualified Finance Business Partner.

 

Responsibilities 

  • As our Finance Business Partner, you will be a value-adding member of the factory management team by tracking and reporting on performance KPI’s, highlighting risks and opportunities and providing recommendations for making the business decisions to improve the factory performance.
  • Perform monthly financial closing with support from our Shared Service Center and prepare performance reporting on behalf of the factory
  • Follow up on KPI performance and facilitate monthly Performance Reviews with the factory management team
  • Conduct ongoing controlling and root cause analysis of the financials where needed to ensure quality in actuals. Perform/facilitate corrective actions if necessary
  • Prepare yearly budgets and monthly full-year forecasts for the factory and follow up on deviations to safeguard the forecast accuracy and stability
  • Responsible for Performance Management in the factory supporting stakeholders setting ambitious/realistic targets and making the needed business decisions
  • Responsible for keeping stakeholders accountable for meeting agreed targets
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for trainings

 

Qualifications 

  • Several years of experience in similar position
  • A Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration or Accounting is highly advantageous
  • In-depth knowledge of and experience with accounting, budgeting, planning and auditing
  • Solid business insight and understanding of a manufacturing environment
  • Good PC/computer skills (MS Office suite – mainly Excel/Power Point) required
  • ERP knowledge is advantageous. (in Vestas the ERP system is SAP)
  • Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Polish is welcomed

 

Competencies

  • Solid developed organizational and influential skills with the ability to meet month-end reporting deadlines by leveraging on the functional support from the matrix organization and Shared Service Center
  • Good investigative skills and ability to make business case comparisons for internal presentation.
  • Ability to perform under stress and within a dynamic work environment while being responsible for multiple deliverables
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills required (level of communication within the company - with the team, stakeholders, all levels, etc.)

Additional information 

Work location: Szczecin, Brdowska 5, Poland 
Travel days: up to 15 days of travel per year.
In the initial onboarding phase additional travel days will be needed to participate in training activities in Denmark. Estimated 3-4 weeks spread over the first 4-5 months.
