We are looking for someone who will have an important part in building the foundation for the monitoring and improvement of "critical to business" data quality across Vestas's ERP / CRM systems. Working for the Strategic Business Architecture team, you will utilize your quality PowerBI skills to develop, maintain and enhance Vestas's Data Quality Monitoring System (DQMS). Describe the Department
At Vestas, "data" has been identified as a key asset in improving its future growth and realizing its vision of being the "global leader in sustainable energy". You will have an important part in building the foundation for the monitoring and improvement. You will also collaborate with other team members to perform data profiling and establish data quality rules / to check data entries for errors across various dimensions including accuracy, completeness, integrity, and timeliness

 

Responsibilities

  • Using Power BI, develop and maintain data-rich dashboards, interactive visual charts and reports that will provide relevant insight into data quality levels and track progression over time
  • Write DAX expressions to check data entries and determine data quality results against pre-defined rules / criteria
  • Design business workflows for the timely notification, dispatching, resolution and closure of data quality events / incidents
  • Develop scorecards to measure information operation activity performance against set targets, goals, and objectives
  • Translate business requirements in PowerBI context, analyze datasets, perform data transformations
  • Develop project plans and schedules, and report on project progress
  • Perform ongoing administration of the DQMS tool including security and provision of access to end users

 

Qualifications

  • Experience with PowerBI Developer including data preparation and visualization
  • Have experience with data science, business intelligence, data analytics and presenting to a non-technical audience
  • Possess sound knowledge of database management, SQL querying, data modeling, data integration, data warehousing and OLAP(Online Scientific Processing)
  • Be able to understand business processes, data structures and how they interact
  • Experience with SAP and Salesforce
  • A high proficiency in written and spoken English
