Region NCE>SBU NCE Service>Travel Team Coordination
Vestas Northern and Central Europe is a sales business unit covering OFFSHORE, NORTH-WEST (Scandinavia, UK, Ireland), CENTRAL (Germany, Austria and Benelux), Poland and Baltic countries. Our responsibilities include Sales, Project, Installation, and Service of wind farms in these regions. Travel Team-Onshore NCE is supporting across NCE countries with qualified resources-ready to execute service tasks (maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs) and commissioning activities. As Travel Team Coordinator, you will support the Team Supervisor and Travel Technicians with operational, logistics, and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Onboarding new team members
- Organizing short-term and long-term team scheduling, including team rotation and tracking absences
- Assisting the team with travel arrangements (hotels, flights, etc.)
- Maintaining and updating the skill set matrix for team members, identifying skill gaps, and coordinating with the Team Leader to address these gaps
- Scheduling and coordinating required training sessions. Maintaining contact with external companies such as car rental companies, medical centers, and training centers
- Ensuring team members complete all required medical checks and assessments, coordinating with healthcare providers and managers
- Ensuring compliance with Vestas standards, processes, and regional laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Wind industry experience and experience in similar position - will be beneficial
- A valid driving license – B category
- Good organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to handle evolving tasks and priorities
- Prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
- System user of MS Office
Competencies
- Willing to adjust and prepared for ongoing project changes
- Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Practical and detail-oriented approach to work
- Skilled at managing and prioritizing tasks in time-sensitive situations
- Good communication skills and good at self-organization
- Familiar with SAP and Salesforce, with training available if needed
- Intermediate level of English (B2)
