Vestas are a world leading, renewable energy company that develop, build, install and maintain wind turbines all over the globe. We are currently recruiting for a Material Handler - Repair for our new tools storage facility in Seaham, County Durham. If you are an experienced electrician or metalworker with a proactive mindset and a structured working approach, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!
 

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Quickly and efficiently identify any errors or defects in the tool
  • Make the necessary repairs to the tool to meet the standards
  • Review and quality control
  • Documentation of repairs
     

Qualifications

  • You will have a proven history from a mechanical, electrical or hydraulics background within a similar industry
  • Skilled background as mechanic, metalworker, electrician, automation technician or similar
  • Good technical understanding both mechanically, hydraulically and electrically
  • Truck and/or crane certificate

Additional information
Your work location will be at Vestas office at Seaham, GB. Travel is expected across UK & Ireland and occasional travel across Europe.
