Vestas Asia Pacific Sales Business Unit > Sales Southeast Asia > Sales Singapore

As a Vestas Senior Sales Manager you will be responsible for developing and materializing business opportunities for the biggest wind energy multinational company in the world, contributing to its ambitious growth plans across the Southeast Asia region. You will be representing the company in front of an international customer base and leading a team of experts to deliver a winning value proposition and secure Vestas order intake. This is a strategic position with high level of responsibility, management exposure, and ability to drive and grow the company success in one of the most promising and dynamic wind power market.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Grow, build and nurture a solid sales pipeline in the market
  • Establish strong customer relationships and build trust, understand customer business case and develop compelling value proposition (Account Management)
  • Manage and drive business opportunities from prospects identification, tendering, deal optimization, to negotiation and closure of wind farm supply and service contracts.
  • Coordinate and manage the internal cross-functional experts to drive the project team towards success (Bid Management)
  • Lead contractual negotiations and close the deals
  • Contribute in the development of Vestas commercial strategy

 

Qualifications

  • Strong educational background within a relevant business, finance or engineering degree at Master level
  • Min 7 years front-line sales experience in large energy infrastructure projects (preferably in the wind power industry).
  • Leadership in commercial negotiations for contracts exceeding US$50 mil.
  • Experience in equipment sales, business development, project development/financing and commercial project management are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver results under challenging conditions

Additional Information

The primary work location is Singapore (Vestas Asia Pacific HQ). Also open for other locations such as Ho-Chi Minh city & Bangkok.

Extensive business travel in the region is expected.
