Senior Corporate Counsel 
SG, Singapore | Management | Full-Time

We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel that is enthusiastic about making an impact on our global efforts to shape the world's energy future and enable encourage our shared goal of accelerating the global transition to renewable energy. As Senior Legal Counsel, you will provide legal support for the ASP divisions of Vestas' Global Development team, which is headquartered in Singapore.

 

Finance > Vestas Legal, Risk & Compliance > Global Development Legal

 

Responsibilities

  • Opportunity to work closely with an entrepreneurial and fast-growing project development team in ASP
  • Ability to work on a varied and broad range of transaction documents in compliance with company guidelines and preferences, in each case while being encouraged to participate in and contribute to strategic initiatives to further business goals
  • Broad exposure handling external counsel across a wide range of practice areas
  • Empowered and equipped with resources to seek for constant improvement and advancement of best practice through development and implementation of systems, processes, guidelines, and forms to create efficiencies and lay groundwork for future growth of the business

 

Qualifications

  • Licensed in law with at least (7) years of experience practicing law in the renewable energy industry
  • Flexibility with travel based on company needs and goals

 

Competencies

  • A solid sense of ownership, leadership, and accountability, reinforced by the ability to work with limited supervision
  • Ability to balance attention to detail and thorough analysis
  • Ability to communicate directly, and articulately render solution-oriented legal advice with maximum impact
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • An enthusiastic and avid learner
