Business Analyst

For this role  werequires someone to prepare, facilitate and improve the operational and tactical decision making of Vestas Asia Pacific’s Management Team with an aim to successfully deliver on our profitable growth strategy across the region.

 

Sales > SBU Asia Pacific > WTG Sales Operations

As a part of the team this roles will Own, maintain and enforce Vestas Asia Pacific’s repository of sales-related process descriptions, templates and work instructions

 

Responsibilities:

  • Act as anchor point in the weekly deal review and approval flow
  • Monitor and ensure high data quality in our sales systems by collaborating with the data owners
  • Facilitate the monthly sales forecasting process for our wind turbine business in close collaboration with the senior management team and Group stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relevant market intelligence databases to inform accurate and fact-based decision making
  • Monitor data quality dashboard regularly and communicate status and issues, incl. root causes
  • Participate in regional sales calls to understand status of deal pipeline
  • Engage with deal teams responsible for projects that require gate approvals and guide them on content and layout
  • Deal proposals are prepared and presented in time and good quality, leading to approvals

  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to perform improvements
  • Assume super user role for various systems, processes, tools and templates used by Regional Sales Operations
  • Monitor data quality dashboard regularly and communicate status and issues, incl. root causes
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to perform improvements
  • Assume super user role for various systems, processes, tools and templates used by Regional Sales Operations
  • Collaborate with the regional and global market intelligence communities to develop and maintain relevant market intelligence databases
  • Analyse, discuss and present market and competitor information
  • Analyse internal information such as cost developments, capacity allocations, pricing trends
  • Deliver valuable business insights via regular reports and ad-hoc engagements to inform accurate and fact-based decision making on operational and tactical level

 

Qualification:

  • Experience working with complex IT tools related to business intelligence, working with CRM or ERP systems, and economic valuation tools
  • Experience working within international business environment
  • Experience providing basic financials and viability models
  • Experience interpreting market information in an industrial, infrastructure environment

Additional Information

The primary work location is Singapore. Some business travel in the region is expected
