The Customer Project Execution (CPX) team oversees Vestas’ end to end customer project management, ensuring a seamless transition from firm order intake through to service handover. Within APAC, the CPX function plays a pivotal role in coordinating, executing, and completing projects across the region. The team facilitates operational excellence in international projects, partnering with diverse stakeholders while managing the Power Plant Solutions’ P&L. Prioritising process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and strategic implementation, CPX is essential for delivering dependable wind energy solutions on schedule, within budget, and maintaining the highest quality levels.

Responsibilities

• Support and align the strategic direction of Vestas across APAC with global priorities.
• Shape, own, and continuously enhance CPX project management standards to ensure consistency and execution excellence.
• Build and lead a high performing organization by shaping structure, developing talent, and aligning resources to deliver business goals.
• Ensure safety culture and performance across employees, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Oversee project portfolio performance, securing financials, timelines, quality, safety, and reliable reporting and forecasting.
• Lead customer engagement, managing expectations, strengthening relationships, and representing APAC leadership in key forums.
• Manage contracts, claims, and cash collection, negotiating effectively with customers and coordinating with Legal and Procurement.
• Drive risk and quality management, fostering collaboration across stakeholders to deliver solutions and continuous improvement.
• Define governance structures and embed APAC construction best practices, while leading, motivating, and inspiring the team to deliver excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience in project execution, PMO management, or strategic operations within complex infrastructure or energy industries.
• Proven expertise in portfolio management, project governance, contract management, and driving process improvement initiatives.
• Strong financial acumen with a solid understanding of project delivery drivers, including P&L management.
• Advanced proficiency in project management tools, BI platforms (SAP BI, SAC, Power BI), and ERP systems.
