In the Service Department, our focus is to provide our clients with high quality and best possible production of their wind power plants.

With our long-standing good record of accomplishment and service experience globally, we work to ensure that we develop our clients' plants effectively to get the most out of each turbine while upholding to our commitment to safety standards. This role collaborates with WF site team and is responsible for the upkeep and efficient running of the site warehouse and turbine O&M across sites assigned in accordance with the contract.

As a part of the Vestas team you will work collaboratively within our warehouse as well as communicating with the external teams to ensure they have everything they need to complete site works safely and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Perform GI / GR in system and maintaining data and part/tool documentations
  • Coordinate with Central Warehouse for the delivery shipment as planned and scheduled for Parts and Tools
  • Participate in stocktaking programs and assisting sites with NCR's parts and tools
  • Spare Parts and tools ready for an efficient mobilization of technicians
  • KANBAN / Safety Stock setup with Site Supervisor
  • Working with Site team for physical check and count - Periodically
  • Availability of materials and tools for the service teams as planned & scheduled
  • Material stocks traceable at anytime
  • Safety standards applied in the warehouse/work according to HSE Plan and for warehouse equipment
  • Participate annual audit for HSE inspection and Stock deviation
  • Receive and check materials / tools (both physical and in system)
  • Improve effective and efficient way of storage of materials under consideration of safety standards
  • Purchase requisition creation and management
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • OH&S compliance
  • Generate Tool Damage report and communicate with Tool dept.
  • Do GI for any DEF item returning back Central Warehouse
  • Order consumables and tools for service activities
  • Maintain site warehouse and ensure all areas and safe and well organized
  • Coordination of tool inspection (LT, CT, etc) schedule and maintain / documentation of report results
  • Check updated MSDS and inform to site team
  • Coordinate with Agent and Tool dept for maintaining MC replacement tool availability

 

Qualifications

  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Flexibility in working hours (on call roster)
  • Positive attitude and approach to day to day duties
  • Demonstrated initiative to increase efficiency in operations
  • SAP skills required
  • A clear commitment to safety and a safe working environment
  • Experience in a logistic environment is a bonus
  • Proficient in local language and English
  • Accurate way of working
  • Good administration and organizational skills
  • Motivated with an open and a friendly attitude
  • Good interpersonal and customer relation skills
  • Business Korean language skill with business level English.
  • Has a valid driver's license in Korea
