Operations Service / Operations / Service NEA 

The department manages responsibility for Service and Maintenance Activities related to business operations.  This includes financial management of the Departments Budget and ensuring the Service business is meeting its contractual agreements and obligations by meeting the provision of services to customers, maximizing profitability in line with those contractual obligations to the specific clients’ and Vestas corporate requirements. 



  • Responsible for developing and driving the tender process from receipt through to submission, including preparation of pre-tender submission bid content and win strategies 
  • Meet and exceed sales order intake and revenue targets by generating leads, preparing offers including in response to tenders, negotiating and closing out sales
  • Assisting with final production and submission of Expressions of Interest and Tender documentation 
  • Key stakeholder engagement and driving successful outcomes within a dedicated client portfolio and by meeting sales order intake and revenue targets by new lead generation
  • Preparation of Customer Presentations



  • 5-years experience in successfully managing an international service offering in an engineering environment ($50-100m T/O)
  • Experience in developing & presenting Service Contracts to clients
  • Experience in negotiating complex contracts at a senior level
  • Managed a major service business in a changing environment
  • Worked in Six Sigma & Reliability focused environment
  • Developed service strategy in a dynamic market environment.



  • Significant experience in a similar B2B sales environment, with a proven sales record in managing and preparing complex bid submissions as well as generating new business development 
  • An understanding of customers' economic business cases 
  • Proven Project Management skills, a can-do attitude, well-developed negotiation skills, and communication skills
  • Harness working independently, as well as cohesively in a team environment, and with an innate ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively 
  • A relevant Engineering or Business Tertiary qualification will be advantageous 
  • International and National travel may be required from time-to-time
