Operations Service / Operations / Service NEA 

The department manages responsibility for Service and Maintenance Activities related to business operations.  This includes financial management of the Departments Budget and ensuring the Service business is meeting its contractual agreements and obligations by meeting the provision of services to customers, maximizing profitability in line with those contractual obligations to the specific clients’ and Vestas corporate requirements.

 

Responsibilities

  • Active leadership of Vestas Safety culture
  • Deliver on the KPI’s that’s agreed on an annual basic
  • Create and Implement strategy to achieve World Class status.
  • Achieve Customer Satisfaction level of 75% plus
  • Achieving bottom line profit targets
  • Ensure timely and efficient transition of projects from construction phase to Service Contracts.
  • Oversee and manage the fiscal responsibility to Vestas, i.e. budget expenditure, revenue, cost control.
  • Proactively manage and report to the client, applying contractual obligations, and extending Service Contracts.
  • Be an active leader in the development of the business by ensuring system design and implementation, efficiency, setting progressive service policies and strategies and presenting these to State of Affairs Committee.
  • Proactively develop self by undertaking technical and product learning, and ensuring staff management capabilities are sufficient.
  • Ensure skill development of staff within the Service division, at all levels.
  • Ensure all reporting is accurate and timely.
  • Management of key external stakeholder relationships

 

Qualifications

  • 5-years experience in successfully managing an international service offering in an engineering environment ($50-100m T/O)
  • Experience in developing & presenting Service Contracts to clients
  • Experience in negotiating complex contracts at a senior level
  • Managed a major service business in a change environment
  • Worked in Six Sigma & Reliability focused environment
  • Developed service strategy in dynamic market environment.

 

Competencies

  • Ability to articulate vision & implement in business
  • High level commercial and business acumen – financial & contractual
  • Adaptability in understanding client needs and achieving Vestas requirements
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, knowledge of SAP
  • Relationship building, both internal and external.
  • Decision making, to create action.
  • Trouble shooting in high pressure environment.
