APAC Service Business Finance serves as a team of finance business partners to the Regional Service organization. The team focuses on enhancing Service performance management and providing insights and added-value forward-looking advisory to the APAC Service organization, which consists of more than 2,000 employees across our Asia-Pacific markets and operates a growing triple digit annual million EUR service portfolio.

 

You will be located in Seoul, South Korea, reporting to the Service Business Finance Director of Region Asia-Pacific. Your role will be to support regional efforts in enhancing the quality of our Backlog Management, improving commercially and operationally the regional Service EBIT, supporting profitable growth of Transactional business, and improving operational efficiency of the Service Finance Business function through governance and training. The role involves coordination with Service Business Finance business partners (BPMs) in sub-regions, Global Service Finance counterparts and frequent interactions with APAC Service Operations & Service Commercial leadership.

 

Responsibilities

 

In this role, you will act as a trusted sparring partner while ensuring compliance with financial governance, policies, and controls. Your main responsibilities will be

• Regional lead for the annual Backlog Management prediction updates: coordinates roll-out and training to local BPMs and Service Operations area managers, develops and refines working guidelines including scoring, cost evaluation standards, approval workflows; responsible for overall compliance and establishing controls over the validity of alternative predictions; recommends to the regional leadership the adoption steps from alternative predictions to SAP Planned costs.

• Regional Finance Business Partner for EBIT Recovery: acts as the first Finance point of contact for the cross-functional taskforce composed of Service Commercial, Operations, Legal & Finance; provides prioritization based on financial KPIs, valuation and guidance among potential settlement options in coordination with subregional BPMs and other taskforce stakeholders; reports results, risks and opportunities; prepares planning framework in relation to long-term EBIT recovery.

• Regional Financial Business Partner for Non Contract Business (Transactional), including Time and Material, Spare parts sales and Ageing Fleet. Development and consolidation of planning premises, performance management, development of guidelines and procedures.

• Supports improvement of working guidelines and governance in alignment with APAC Service Business Finance Director. This includes assessment and optimization of workflows, updates in activity rates, enablement of Finance Transformation, preparation of performance reviews material, annual planning coordination.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

To meet the expectations of this role, we believe that you bring the following experience

• Financial Background, master's degree within business administration or equivalent

• Solid experience in Process and Project Management

• Good knowledge in finance, audit, budgeting, accounting, and compliance

• Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, SAP, BI, and Anaplan

• Full proficiency in English (written and verbal)
