Our Sales Managers are responsible to win and consistently close some of the most exciting wind projects in Asia. Responsibilities
Developing sales approaches and designing plans for additional sales goals and targets thereby contributing towards the long-term growth of the organisation, possessing product knowledge with the ability to effectively market the product to customers, negotiate terms and close deals.
- Setting sales and commercial goals and providing input to the internal stakeholders involved in selling
- Generating new opportunities and leads based on customer, competitor or market understanding
- Formulating a sales management strategy to achieve those goals
- Face the customers jointly with the deal team throughout the entire sales process
- Supervise the commercial negotiations
- Reviewing tender material
- Develop bid, negotiation and commercial strategies
- Ensuring structure within the bid and negotiation phase
- Reporting progress to the management team
- First point of contact for commercial issues and responsible for internal escalation
- Building the customer relationship and face the customers together with the Senior Technical Sales Manager throughout the sales process
- Align commercial requirements and risk assessment with internal stakeholders.
- Develop a cross-functional team from different departments working on a project.
- Compliance with internal processes and guidelines.
- Involved in planning and focusing to increase sales volume, contributing to company profits and long term growth of the organisation
- Owning negotiation cycle from signing a non-disclosure agreement to closure, contract, signature and customer / buyer segmentation
Qualifications
We are looking for a person with the following qualifications:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration, coupled with good professional and project management experience, ideally within the wind energy, EPCI offshore oil and gas, power plants, infrastructure or the construction industry. A master's degree would be preferred.
- Experience with being involved on a commercial side in negotiations of large complex projects and can articulate the consequences from a commercial and contractual point of view
- Experience with long-term sales processes and will be required to deliver results in a complex organisation selling large-scale projects

- Solid stakeholder management skills. The Sales Manager must effectively seek contact with all relevant partners and business relations
- Be a team-oriented person and develop a cross-functional team toward a common goal
- Show leadership i.e. influence others to accomplish a goal
- Give, receive and understand information in a clear and concise manner. Present information professionally and convincingly to ensure high perception, acceptance and understanding
- Understand, link and evaluate information to understand issues, identify options and support sound decision-making
- •Korean and business English competencies are required
- Look and plan ahead to control a situation by causing something to happen rather than waiting to respond to it after it happens.
- Resilience and persistency to withstand long-cycle customer negotiations
- High degree of structure and project management skills
- Great sense of cultural awareness and sensitivity
