APAC Head of HSE Sales - supervise small team (2 persons - Specialists) to ensure that all HSE considerations taken into account during the Sales to construction phase

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales in submitting bids and in closing contracts ensuring compliance to Vestas Safety and Environmental requirements, inkling legislation compliance
  • Support and ensure compliance to the Vestas procurement process, including provide input to updates of Vestas global HSE and specific procurement related contractual governance policies and conditions as related to Safety and environment
  • Deliver HSE continuous improvements in the Sales process
  • Ensure Safety and Environmental risks are identified as part of the BID ding process ensuring these risks are appropriately controlled in all necessary HSE MS document
  • Partner with Vestas Development and Sales team to ensure all projects are appropriately planned for
  • Drive establishment of regional key customer HSE roadmaps and provide input to establishment of global strategic/key customer roadmaps
  • Support creation and maintenance of global HSE contracting supporting material and tools and handle creation and maintenance of regional material and tools
  • Training of relevant stakeholders in Vestas HSE and specific procurement related contractual governance policies
  • Support the HSE in planning and execution of customer and contractor audits and readiness assessments

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HSE or engineering curriculum being in compliance with local legal requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of management preferably on a leadership level

 

Competencies

  • Experience in contract management as part of a bid/tender team is strongly required
  • Sense of Commercial/contractual management
  • Understanding of ISO 14001 & 45001 standards
  • Experience in developing and influencing a team of HSE resources
  • Experience in industrial Civil Works/construction (project-based approach) and Service Sales activities
  • Experienced in process deployment (BPMS) in complex organizations
  • Substantial experience of data analysis, having knowledge of relevant tools and methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to establish, implement and manage HSE best practices and programs
  • Customer focus, effective problem-solving capabilities, strong collaborator and cultural sensitivity skills
  • Able to communicate across all sales levels to align expectations, engage the organization, monitor results and establish solutions
  • Must have a sense of urgency for change and improvement, and a balanced approach to risk taking and achieving results
