The Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) department aims to support the business by providing a HSE System to understand their HSE risk profile, identify local legislative HSE requirements and contractual requirements and develop, implement, monitor and improve appropriate plans and controls to ensure effective management of HSE and improvement of HSE culture.

 

Responsibilities

The role is responsible for the implementation of Vestas HSE Management System on Service operational sites as well as support the delivery of regional and country-specific risk reduction programs, which may be identified from time to time in response to current and emerging risks or incidents. The role will work with operational staff to improve situational risk awareness with respect to work methods/tasks and the environment within which people work proactively seeking ways to reduce risks.

 

Qualifications

  • Engineer Industrial Safety Certificate (산업안전기사 자격증) is necessary
  • Korean speaking is necessary
  • 3 or above years of HSE management experience
  • Demonstrated professional experience in a Health and Safety position
  • Previous experience in construction and general industry environment
  • Experience with handling and conducting safety training
  • Good English oral and written skill
  • Nebosh Health & Safety Training course is prefer
  • Wind turbine or electrical industrial or civil construction experience is an add on
  • Bachelor's Degree in HSE or engineering curriculum is an add as well

  • Incident investigation stakeholder management
  • Significant technical background, including knowledge of applicable legislation, acts, regulations, codes of practice and standards
  • Ability to facilitate risk workshops
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001
