We are looking for committed employees to ensure the offshore operation of our wind turbines in the Offshore Wind farm “Baltic Eagle”, consisting of 50 Vestas V174-9.5 MW turbines with a total capacity of 475 MW north east off the coast of the Island of Rugen, in the German Baltic Sea.

Your responsibilities – here's where you can get involved!   

  • You will manage and coordinate the service operations on site as well as plan the service task on a daily basis to ensure smooth and reliable operation of our wind turbines 
  • Organize vessel and team transfers, monitor weather conditions, and prepare transfer plans and daily reports 
  • Create and manage work orders in ERP (SAP), approve technician hours, and keep the planning board up to date 
  • Implement upgrades, support new processes, and uphold Vestas Health & Safety standards 
  • You are responsible for planning the annual service and maintenance activities, ensuring timely execution and optimal system performance 
  • Ensure excellent customer service to maintain high customer satisfaction 
  • Provide general support to the Service Manager and ensure that all electrical safety work on site is managed and executed to the highest standards 

 

Your profile – what makes you a great fit! 

  • You hold an electrical qualification from a technical school, college, or university 
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems, preferably offshore and/or with high voltage
  • You have practical experience with wind turbines and understand the technical challenges of the role 
  • Safety is your top priority, and you’re comfortable working at heights and offshore, ready to handle the unique conditions of the job 
  • English is key in offshore operations, and you have excellent English skills to collaborate effectively
