The Vestas Service offshore organisation is responsible for all activities in relation to the operation and maintenance of offshore windfarms in Northern and Central Europe. We currently have several GW under service contracts and we are continuously growing our pipeline and organisation.

The wind farm you will be working at is Baltic Eagle consisting of 50 Vestas V174-9.5 MW turbines with a total capacity of 475MW north east off the coast of the Island of Rugen, in the German Baltic Sea. You will become part of an exciting journey all the way from the beginning of setting up the service organisation at the site and following operations under the 5 year service contract. Home port is Mukran (CTV project) and you will be working in a rotation setup of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off.

 

Your main tasks:

  • Responsibilities RequiredYour main tasks will be:
  • Manage and coordinate service operations on site
  • Plan service tasks on a daily basis
  • Organize Vessel + O&M team transfers
  • Monitor weather forecasts
  • Prepare transfer plans + Daily reports
  • Create service work orders in ERP (SAP)
  • Maintain and update planning board
  • Assist the implementation of new procedures/processes
  • Approve hours of technicians
  • Planning of annual service and maintenance
  • Input to Monthly Customer Report
  • Ensure implementation of upgrades
  • Servicing the customer to ensure high customer satisfaction
  • Compliance to Vestas' Health and Safety Management system
  • General support to the Service Manager
  • Manage and ensure electrical safety works on site

 

Your qualifications:

  • You completed an electrical degree from a technical school/college/university
  • You have at least 5 years of professional experience with electrical and/or mechanical systems, preferably offshore and/or with high voltage
  • You have professional wind turbine experience
  • Good English and German skills in reading / writing
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office
  • Full driving license
