The Sales department monitors and is in charge to offer relevant and motivated commercial offers to developers of wind projects. During the commercial and contractual negotiation steps, this team is supported by several support areas such as engineering, legal and finance. The sales cycle can extend over several months and the contracts reach several million euros.



  • The Business Development Manager play an integral role in directing and effectively closing projects throughout the entire sales cycle, you will be representing Vestas in front of important accounts and will take a major responsibility in coordinating the energy transition inside the Brazilian market.
  • As a Business Development Manager (f/m/d) you are accountable in developing new markets and customers driving increase in annual order intake targets.
  • You remain close to our customers and will be responsible for establishing and developing our customer relationships, building trust and create an understanding for customers' business case and based on that provide ideal value propositions
  • You are a key enabler in creating the business case and supervise the communication and input between internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay up to date on market trends, customer and competitor activities and share insight amongst sales managers and other colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of Vestas' commercial strategy



  • You have a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, MBA is desired
  • We expect you to bring a high level of proven experience in Sales, Commercial Sales and / or Business Development, ideally within renewable energy or another project-based sector
  • You will bring a solid level of Contract negotiation skills and experience with complex technical contracts from your career so far
  • Ability to identify and involve business stakeholders
  • Fluent English is mandatory, spanish is desirable
