The Latin America (LATAM) Finance Business Performance Management (BPM) team are the dedicated finance business partners to our LATAM Regional Sales, Construction, Service and Manufacturing operations. We are an internationally diverse team, physically located in multiple countries across the region. Together with our primary operational stakeholders, we focus on Performance Management, Business Finance, Business Controlling and Finance Business Partnering.

 

The Service Finance team specifically partners with Service Operations. As the Service Controller LAT South, you will be located at either the Santiago, Chile, or the Buenos Aires, Argentina, office. You will be reporting to the LAT BPM Head of Service Finance, located in São Paulo, BR. Your operational stakeholders will be primarily located in Santiago, Chile, and Buenos Aires, Argentina.

 

As the Service Controller LAT South, you will be the primary financial expert and problem solver for the LAT South Service operations. Note that LAT South currently covers operations in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Peru and Bolivia. You will execute the relevant controlling and finance processes related to the Service Contracts in LAT South, while also assisting in preparation of daily and monthly reports, providing analysis and insights.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Execute the monthly financial service controlling activities and processes for LAT South Service contracts, in accordance with the defined Vestas Standard Operating Procedures.

• Monthly, consolidate and analyze the current month LAT South Service P&L results versus annual budget & prior month forecast, noting insights to be shared with service management

• Monthly, in coordination with LAT South Service Operations, update the potential risks & opportunities (as applicable) to ensure proper forecasting

• Proactively engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders, in order to solve operational issues and problems with speed and quality.

• Assist with ad-hoc projects and management reports as required

 

Qualifications

 

• >6 years relevant experience with accounting & cost controlling (project/contract experience preferred), P&L analysis, and business performance management.

• Bachelors' degree in Finance or Accounting. MBA preferred.• Previous experiences in Wind energy is a Plus (but not required).

• Experience with systems including MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) required and SAP, SAP BI, SAP BPC experience is beneficial

• Strong proficiencies in both spoken and written English, the official language of Vestas, is required. Portuguese, Spanish and Danish proficiencies are a Significant Plus.

• Flexibility and motivation, some travel should be expected
