The Service Department, responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance of Vestas wind turbines across France, is currently looking for a Dispatcher to coordinate maintenance operations.
Reporting to the Service Operation Support department and under the supervision of the Planning Team Leader, you will work closely with the Operations Manager and field technical teams.
Your main objective will be to plan and optimize maintenance activities in line with internal processes, ensuring safety, quality standards, and turbine performance in accordance with contractual commitments.
Key Responsibilities
Planning & Coordination
- Prepare accurate short-term schedules (3-week horizon)
- Build and continuously refine medium-term schedules (12-week horizon)
- Anticipate and balance workload for long-term planning (annual view)
Operational Optimization
- Optimize interventions by grouping tasks based on operational priorities
- Assess workload and anticipate support needs in advance
- Ensure availability of tools, materials, and resources
Operational Execution & Follow-up
- Issue purchase orders
- Assign work orders to field technicians
- Ensure timely completion of work orders to avoid backlog or delays
- Monitor planning performance indicators and implement corrective actions when needed
Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a high focus on safety in all operations
- Ensure all activities comply with internal processes and standards
Profile
You hold a 2-year degree (or equivalent) and have experience in an industrial, maintenance, or energy-related environment.
Experience in dispatching, planning, or coordination of technical operations.
Technical Skills
- Solid proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, data analysis, data extraction)
- Ability to interpret performance indicators and translate them into concrete actions
- Good IT skills with the ability to navigate efficiently across multiple tools and systems
- Knowledge of SAP, Salesforce, or similar systems
- Intermediate level of English (minimum B2 – written and spoken)
Soft Skills
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- High level of self-management and responsiveness in a demanding environment
- Ability to work in a demanding environment and manage stress effectively
- Effective communication skills with the ability to coordinate with field teams
- Professional, structured, and methodical mindset
- Ability to make prompt decisions while respecting established processes
You are comfortable working in a structured environment and able to connect data, technical constraints, and field operations.
