Transport and Custom are strategical areas of Service Supply Chain Organization in Latin America. Our current footprint has 9 main warehouses, covering 16 countries in Vestas Services operations. We support the business by securing timely availability and reliability on delivery of spare parts, main components, and tools. We are now looking for a Transportation and Custom to be in charge improve our service level with a control costs.

Responsibilities:

Close cooperation in Transport team understanding and anchor the cost risk impacts, investigating and support problem-solving of billing and account issues, monitor and report costs risks & opportunities

Assist with the Transport Budget preparation & control process, ensuring high integrity in our numbers by having accurate figures in Inbound reports and a high-quality budget on well-documented assumptions

Ensure root cause explanations in our forecast where all changes and deviation are explained by the underlying business drivers

Control of transport forecast/spend reporting risks & opportunities

Proactively approach with stakeholders to attend and ensure safety, customs, tax, finance, account and systems compliance process

Assist Transport team on various cost reduction initiatives, business cases preparation & reporting

Audit invoices, coordinate and control payments of LSP properly on track and reported

Qualifications:

Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Production Engineering, Operations Management or General Business
3 years of experience in a similar role
Experience role within warehousing, logistics, transportation, customs, or supply chain activities
Fluency in English and Spanish

Competencies:

Solid communication skills
Experience working with different areas/customers
IT capabilities and knowledge in ERP systems
Investigative skills and the ability to coordinate optimization and changes
