Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Department at Vestas do Brasil Ltda. is responsible for securing high‑quality materials, components, and services that support the company's wind energy operations across Latin America. The team works closely with global and regional stakeholders to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance. By managing supplier relationships, optimizing sourcing strategies, and contributing to continuous improvement, the department plays a vital role in enabling Vestas to deliver sustainable and reliable renewable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

Execute end‑to‑end procurement activities for direct materials.

Develop, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, high quality, and reliable delivery.

Conduct market analysis to support strategic sourcing initiatives and risk mitigation.

Ensure supplier compliance with Vestas standards, including sustainability, safety, and ethical guidelines.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Logistics to support project and operational needs.

Manage purchase orders, contracts, and documentation in accordance with company policies.

Monitor supplier performance and develop improvement plans when necessary.

Support cost‑reduction initiatives and contribute to supply chain optimization projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain roles - in industrial, energy, or manufacturing environments.

Solid negotiation and analytical skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems (such as SAP) and Microsoft Office tools.

Fluent English; Spanish is valued.

Knowledge of contract management and procurement best practices.
