Service Sales and Account Management

This position is part of the MENA Sub-Region and reports to the Service Commercial Management. As Service Sales and Account Management, you will actively contribute to the development of the Service Sales business, including commercial, technical and operational aspects as part of Vestas' engagement in the wind industry.

 

Responsibilities

The Service Sales and Account Management plays an essential role to achieve Service growth and business targets. You will be responsible for the implementation of the Commercial Operations and Service Sales strategies within Vestas for the assigned Accounts. You will have the task to prepare Service proposals and negotiate long-term Service and Availability Agreement ("SAA") applicable to the operation and maintenance of the new windfarm, as well as capture transactional opportunities related to the Sales of spare parts, upgrades and additional services for the wind turbines already in operations.

 

•             Build relationships with relevant stakeholders, understand the business model of customers, their needs and key decision-making drivers

•             Participate to tenders, review customer requirements related to Service, perform opportunity assessments identifying potential issue and risks

•             Define the Scope of Services to be offered, configure the associated cost model and develop commercial & technical proposals across all different type of Service offering, On Time and with High Quality

•             Coordinate internal Functions (Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, etc.) during proposal preparation and follow-up

•             Negotiate Service Contracts regarding new projects in close alignment with the Turbine Supply Agreement and covering technical / operational / commercial / legal content

•             Creatively seek and identify potential opportunities related to Sales of spare parts, upgrades and additional services

•             Coordinate the internal contract review and approval process

•             Physically attend meetings with customers and vendors

•             Monitor Service KPIs, promote profitable sales and growth in line with business targets

 

Qualifications

•             Able to demonstrate commercial records (ideally 5 years of experience) at a high level of achievement within international companies of the Power Generation (nice-to-have) or Industrial / Oli& Gas Sectors (e.g. Pumps, Turbines, or big equipment, control panels)

•             Is required to possess competencies in understating and reviewing contractual Terms & Conditions

•             Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent work experience) in Engineering to understand wind turbines operation

•             Significant customer-management skills

•             Fluent in Arabic and English (Fluency in additional languages is a plus)

•             Knowledge and experience with MS Office applications and SAP
