Logistics Manager – Vestas Nacelle & Hub Factory, Ringkøbing
Vestas’ Nacelle & Hub factory in Ringkøbing is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee material availability and planning for our operations. The factory manufactures a wide range of Vestas onshore nacelles, hubs, and drivetrains. With over 25 years of experience delivering these products, we’ve built a highly skilled and proficient team. As Logistics Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the stable production of these key components for the global energy transition.
Responsibilities
- Ensure material availability to support uninterrupted production of nacelles, hubs, and drivetrains.
- Lead logistics planning and execution including inbound/outbound flows and inventory control.
- Lead warehouse operations together with a team of 2 front line leaders reporting to you.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and planning to align logistics with operational goals.
- Manage supplier logistics interfaces and resolve transport-related issues.
- Monitor logistics KPIs such as delivery performance, inventory turnover, and cost efficiency.
- Enhance continuous improvement in logistics processes, systems, and tools.
- Align logistics operations with sustainability and new product introductions by ensuring readiness and supporting factory ramp-up.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
- Several years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or production planning.
- Comprehensive understanding of material flow, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and digital planning tools (SAP).
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience developing effective teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in varied situations.
- Fluent in English; Danish is a plus for local team engagement.
