With a portfolio of approx. 9GW under service, Vestas is one of the wind industry's largest multibrand service provider. We currently service all major turbine brands, and we do this with the same adherence to high quality standards, that we are known for applying to the service of Vestas turbines.


Vestas' multibrand capabilities ranges across more than 30 non Vestas turbine models, and new models are being regularly added to the list, as we build knowledge and capacity to service them in accordance with our quality standards. In just a few years, we have grown our multibrand service business to span across five continents, 23 countries. 


As an integral part of the Multibrand Product Management Department you will be responsible for supporting and implementing the complex software infrastructure projects needed to enable Vestas to deliver full scope service offerings across both wind turbines and associated plant on non Vestas technology worldwide. As Vestas multibrand offerings continue to evolve into new technologies the suitable candidate will have the opportunity to support and supervise some of the most exciting and complex projects.


  • Support roll out of new software systems (which are primarily SCADA related).
  • Standardise global hardware requirements.
  • Create uniform global network configuration.
  • Deliver internal stakeholder input to software development projects.
  • Support development of simplified data system landscape for integration of Multibrand technology into Vestas standard systems and processes.
  • Ensure projects are developed in accordance with Vestas global cyber security and quality standards.


You will have a relevant mix of educational foundation and industry experience working with system integrations in the IT or Software Engineering

  • 2+ years of professional experience in IT or Software Engineering industry.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial, IT or Telecommunication.
  • Experience in the following systems and platforms: Microsoft Windows Operating systems, Microsoft Server, Mircosoft SQL Server, VMWare, Proxmox VE and Linux.
  • Experience in network configuration, integration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with delivery of IT projects project planning skills, including stakeholder management.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Advanced skills with MS PowerPoint and Excel.



  • Good communication skills with the ability to protray complex issues/solutions in a simplified manner.
  • Eagerness to learn new skills and to engage in complex problem solving.
  • Good personal awareness, understanding when to supervise, specify or delegate tasks.
  • Balance your work between short term / urgent and longer term / not urgent task.
  • Good analytical/conceptual thinker and an unsupervised problem-solver.
  • Structured and consistent but comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.

Additional information

  • This role is based either in Rheine or Hamburg, Germany. Also open to other European cities like Copenhagen or Aarhus, Denmark. 
  • Travel - 10%.
