Vestas Construction Quality is an integral part of Vestas Quality and Construction team and brings a business partner perspective, focused in avoiding recurrence and standardization for a sustainable transformation in the business. Shall combine technical knowledge with people, process, and organizational skills to deliver Quality and continuous business improvements. This department reports directly to Vestas Quality and functionally to Global Construction in a matrix organization.

 

Responsibilities:

Quality:

  • Engage with Product and Module Lifecycle Quality Forum and with Construction Quality team. Effectively communicate.
  • Will cooperate to define and coordinate the Quality Assurance approach across Quality Construction Regions
  • Will statistically monitor QC readiness & performance
  • Will statistically monitor suppliers' readiness & performance
  • Will ensure the root cause investigation and improvement and closure of prioritized NCRs and systematic issues

Safety

  • Direct the expectation and culture of zero workplace injuries through supporting behavior-based safety, prompt root cause investigation, and management system compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 1-3 years of experience in Business, Data or Engineering field
  • Leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong cooperation and communication skills;
  • Demonstrated Lean / Continuous improvement skills.
  • Fluent in English
  • Comfortable working at height
  • Budget and Finance acuity
  • Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 standard
  • SAP Knowledge

Competencies

  • Stakeholder Management and effective communication. Customer Quality engagement & partnership management
  • Experience in supporting and influencing cross-functional leaders in a large, multinational organizations; Communicate as contact person to global Quality in Construction Function and other Heads of Quality Construction in the regions;
  • Guide the teams. Leadership and commitment towards the regional construction teams
