PPC Applications team is responsible for design and implementation of control solutions, software architecture and technologies for the Vestas Power Plant Controller. The development activities in the department encompasses power system engineering and controls development, embedded and real-time software development, release management and product support to specialists and technicians in regional Vestas' business units.



  • Design, implement and test core functionalities for Vestas Power Plant Controller solution
  • Handling of technical requests for plant control from Vestas regional business units and projects 
  • Improvement and customization of Vestas' wind power plant control products
  • Creation and review of Requirement Specifications, Design Descriptions, Test & Verification Procedures and Reports
  • Verification of software functionality by various testing tools and environments



  • At least a Master degree in Electrical Engineering or in SW Engineering (with the relevant background in Energy/Power Systems or in Automation and Control)



  • Background in Power Systems and Control
  • Experience in SW development (C/C++, C#, Python, Web, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Matlab, Simulink (including Simulink test, Stateflow, Code Generation, Reference Modelling) desirable
  • Understanding of relevant collaboration tools (Git, Jira, Confluence)
  • International working experience would be advantageous
  • Good communication skills in English, oral and written
